Tours and Excursions
Our school children are normally taken for short excursions in the month of December
to hill stations or places of historical interest.
2009 : AMRITSAR
This was a 3 day trip, studnets went to Wagah Border, boundary of Indian and Pakistan.
They visited the Durgyana Temple. Later they went to historical Jallianwalah Bagh
where thousands of Indians were massacured by General Dyre in 1919. Students then
visited the world famous Gurudwara Harmander Sahib popularly known as the Golden
Temple.
A visit to hill stations and historical places was an enjoyable experience.
2008 : MUSSUOORIE
Last year they went for a 3 day trip to Queen of Moutains Mussorrie a hill station
in the heart of Uttrakhand where they had great fun. They went to Gunhill by Rope
Way, Kempty Falls and Company Garden. The day ended with bon fire. Children visited
Bhatta Falls where they enjoyed trekking nearby.
2007 : HISTORICAL TRIP, AGRA
The students along with a few teachers went for a 2 day excursion to Agra. Visiting
historical place like Taj Mahal and Fateh Pur Sikri as an enjoyable experience.
